The Objectives of the International council of R.E.

  1. C.E. seeks to fosterin growing persons a consciousness of God as a reality in human experience, and a sense of personal relationship with Him.
  2. C.E. seeks to develop in growing persons such an understanding and appreciation of the personality, life, and teachings of Jesus as will lead to experience of him as Savior and Lord, loyalty to him and his cause, and will manifest itself in daily life and conduct.
  3. C.E. seeks to foster in growing persons a progressive and continuous development of Christian character.
  4. C.E. seeks to develop in growing persons the ability and disposition to participate in and contribute constructively to the building of a social order throughout the world, embodying the ideal of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.

General Objectives of Parish Education the American Lutheran Church

The Five Goals of General Christian Education of the National Council Churches

  1. To assist persons, at each stages of development, to realize the highest potentialities of the self as divinely created, to commit themselves to Christ, and to grow toward maturity as Christian persons.
  2. To aid persons in gaining a better understanding and awareness of the natural world as God's creation and accept the responsibility for conserving its values and using them in service of God and of mankind.
  3. To help persons establish and maintain Christian relationships with their families, their churches, and with other individuals and groups taking responsible roles in society, and seeing in every human being an object of the love of God.

The C.E. Objectives of the Church of the Nazarene


To teach the doctrines of Christianity and standards of Christian behavior as revealed in the Bible, especially as interpreted by the "Articles of Faith" in the manual of the Church of the Nazarene.

  1. To lay the foundation and begin the development of Christian character in young children.
  2. To seek the salvation of the unsaved and entire sanctification of believers.
  3. To foster a progressive and continuous development of Christlike character, attitudes and habits.
  4. To lead to the discovery of the Christian philosophy of life.
  5. To help the home become more effective in teaching the Christian faith.
  6. To influence strongly in favor of Church membership and to train for service in the same.
  7. To reach the largest possible number of people for Christ and the Church.

    The objective for Christian education is that

      all persons be aware of God through his self-disclosure,

      especially his redeeming love as revealed in Jesus Christ.

      that they may know who they are and what their human

      situation means,

    The objectives of church's educational ministry is that all persons be aware of God through all the ways he makes himself known, especially through his redeeming love as revealed in Christ Jesus, and they respond in faith and love -

      YIELD themselves to the Holy Spirit,

      LIVE in obedience to the will of God in every relationship,

The Goals of the Wesleyan Evangelical Church

    To confront developing persons with biblical truth and secular thought, including the church's history, polity, and doctrine.....

    in order that they may respond fully to God's love as revealed

      in Jesus Christ, through the experiences of conversion and entire sanctification,

      and may progressively develop mature, Christlike, integrated characters, guided by consistent, practical Christian ethic, be strongly motivated in church membership,

      and be constantly sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leadership in all their social relationships and vocational pursuits,

      and work redemptively in a changing society as witness for Christ.

    The objective of Christian education, as these Wesleyan Evangelicals see it, is to lead all men to a knowledge of God and to a full development of their powers, in order to help them live as children of God, members of the body of Christ, and redemptive citizens in society at large.

  1. To foster an understanding and experience of the Gospel as the power of God unto salvation.

  1. 建立上帝在基督裡與人的關係:

    使人類領悟聖經全部啟示,相信三位一體上帝,乃生命及萬有之源;為保護與治理萬民之主;為世人預備救恩將生命白白賜給世人。

  2. 培育信徒在基督理的新生命:

    信徒成聖的生活應日日藉著聖道啟示 - 悔罪投靠基督,獲得赦免;天天靠聖靈幫助 - 抵擋試探, 過得勝的生活;背起十架、跟從基督,在信望愛中虔誠度日。

  3. 加強信徒與教會的關係:

    教會乃信徒的結合,為使每一信徒在此團契中,各盡其職,必藉聖道和聖禮堅固信心;彼此相通、合而為一;熱心奉獻, 忠心事主。

  4. 促進信徒與他人的關係:

    信徒為基督具體的見証,故應把握機會,見証主道,與人分享上帝救恩;關懷鰥、寡、孤、獨、援助貧苦有急難者,並為萬人代檮。

  5. 發展信徒與世界的關係:

    信徒雖不屬世界,卻生活在此世界,故需認識上帝乃世界主宰;承受上帝托付,作忠心管家;倡導學術,探求人與自然界之奧秘;鼓勵愛國愛民,普及萬邦。
